Note: Bourbon is a strong-willed and beautiful mare who is looking for the right adopter. 

She is very capable and intelligent. She needs an adopter who is equally so. In the hands of a confident, fair horse person, Bourbon does wonderful. However if she gets the ideal that you are afraid, weak, uncertain or a pushover she is more than happy to step into the "leadership" role. But her plans likely won't be the same as yours. 

She's been ridden on trails and in arena. She's got a great understanding of groundwork. 

If you are a confident horseman or horsewoman and if you love the strong mare personality type, Bourbon could be the horse of your dreams. 

She previously had a few months of training with Mike Hurst at Mike Hurst Horsemanship and he really enjoyed working with her. 

She's been in an adoptive home for a while now but is coming back because she's bullying other horses in the pasture. It is also important to note that due to personal circumstances her adopters haven't been able to keep up with the consistency and routine that she needed to be her best. An adopter will need to be willing to give her a month or two refresher to get her refocused on the expectations humans have of horses. 

She's not for beginners. She's not a hang out in the pasture and eat cookies and ride once every three months kind of horse. BUT if you are a serious horseperson, you are going to absolutely LOVE her.
